Infinity: Sartroids - Ranters & Puzzlers

The Combined Army breeds soldiers to a bleak specification: a beast that dies is preferable to a man who runs. Its Interspecies Technology Cooperation Program produced the Sartroids on exactly that basis, crab like tactical units that keep coming forward because nothing was built into them that could decide otherwise.

In a Next Wave list they supply the kind of bodies that stay on a position once the rest of the plan has stopped working. Fearless troops are worth more than they look on paper in a game where morale, order economy and holding ground all interact.

Miniatures are metal and resin, unpainted and unassembled, and the sculpts give painters something a long way from the usual power armour. This adds to an existing collection rather than starting one, so a first time buyer is better served by a two player starter set, with these as the follow up.
