Marvel Crisis Protocol: Immortal Hulk

This is not an upgrade to the Hulk you may already own, it is an alternative to him, and the two want very different games. Where the classic version is about hitting something until it stops existing, the Immortal version is about refusing to stay down: the pitch is staying power, a model that keeps coming back into the fight round after round and forces an opponent to spend far more than they wanted to in order to remove it.

That makes him a grinder rather than an assassin. He is at his best on a Secure crisis where he can stand on a point and dare the other squad to move him, and at his worst against a list that simply walks away, takes the objectives he is not standing on, and lets him win an empty patch of board. He is a big investment, so the rest of the list has to be cheap enough to actually cover the map while he holds his corner of it.

Two Team Tactic Cards come with the miniature. The sculpt is the draw for painters, and it is a genuinely different silhouette rather than a repose of an existing model. Pass on it if your collection already leans heavily on slow, expensive bruisers, because a second one rarely makes a squad better.
