Marvel Crisis Protocol: Black Swan & Supergiant

Supergiant is the reason to look at this box. A telepathic parasite who takes control of what she finds is a fundamentally different tool from anything else in the Black Order, an affiliation otherwise built around large characters walking forward and hitting things. She costs little, she does not want to be in the fight, and she changes what your opponent can safely do with their own models.

Black Swan is the more conventional of the pair, a mid-cost attacker with energy blasts and the physique to survive reaching her target. Together they give Thanos' inner circle a control piece and a second-wave fighter, which is precisely what a squad of heavyweights tends to lack.

Three Team Tactic Cards come with them, written to work alongside the rest of the Black Order rather than in isolation, so the box assumes you already own some of the affiliation. Bought first, before Corvus Glaive and the rest of the inner circle, these two do very little.

Skip it if your cosmic collection is heading toward the Guardians rather than Thanos, since neither character reaches outside the Black Order. Buy it if your Black Order list keeps winning fights and losing crises.
