Bastion 100+ XL Red

Sleeve a deck twice and it stops fitting the box it came in. The Bastion 100+ XL in red is built for that exact load: 100 double-sleeved cards in thick inner sleeves, in a rigid shell measuring 3.9 x 3.46 x 3.03 in. Nothing about it is soft, so a bag full of rulebooks will not deform the cards inside.

The click-lock closure is the feature worth caring about. Friction-fit boxes fail the same way every time, which is opening in a bag on the walk to the shop. This one latches audibly and needs a deliberate press to release.

At the table the box earns a second use. It is made of two symmetrical halves, so you separate them and use one as a draw pile stand and one for discards instead of stacking cards on bare tabletop. Translucent panels keep your front card readable while the box is closed.
